Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can I work as an Inserter at one of the Post plants?

To work as an Inserter, you simply show up at the plant either in Springfield, VA or in College Park, MD. Inserters are hired shift by shift and work part-time. Those inserts who have previously worked are give first consideration in hiring. If more people are needed, they are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. You need one identity document (such as a driver's license, passport or alien registration card) and one work authorization document (such as a social security card or INS work authorization form)
