Each year, The Washington Post teams up with Giant Food, Inc. to collect food and raise funds for the Capital Area Community Food Bank. Donations help the food bank's 700 member agencies feed thousands each year in our community. In the past eleven years, over two million pounds of food have been collected and almost $1 million in cash donations been contributed.
