Reaching Generation Next book coverReaching Generation Next

Reaching Generation Next: A News Media Guide to Creating Successful High School Partnerships is a guide for news media managers across the country in creating partnerships with high schools. The handbook offers profiles of successful partnerships, including the Young Journalists Development Program. It also includes first-person accounts from successful news professionals whose interest in journalism was sparked by news organizations that reached out to them in high school. The handbook, written by Lisa Frazier Page, director of recruiting and hiring for The Washington Post, was financed through a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
