Pamela Belch
Manassas City Public Schools

Mrs. Belch is a second grade teacher at R.C. Haydon Elementary School. She began her teaching career in 1974 as a substitute teacher with the Prince William County Public School system where she substituted for three years. In 1977, Mrs. Belch was a kindergarten and first grade teacher at Weems Elementary School in Manassas, Va., where she remained for ten years. From 1987 to 1989, Mrs. Belch took time off from teaching to raise a family. In 1989, she returned to Weems Elementary as a primary resource teacher where she remained for three years. In 1992, Mrs. Belch joined the faculty at R.C. Haydon Elementary School and assumed her current position. She received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va., and a master of arts degree in education, curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in language arts from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
