Heath E. Morrison,
Charles County Public Schools, is the principal of Thomas Stone High School. Mr. Morrison began his career in education in 1989 as a social studies teacher at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, Va. From 1990 to 1994, he continued to teach social studies at John Hanson Middle School and Westlake High School in Waldorf, Md. In 1994, Mr. Morrison became vice principal at Westlake, where he remained for three years. In 1997, he returned to John Hanson Middle School as principal where he remained until he assumed his current position in 2000. Mr. Morrison holds a BA degree in government from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., and an MS degree in educational administration from the University of Maryland in College Park.
