Paul R. Rhodes,
Calvert County Public Schools, is principal of Mutual Elementary School. Mr. Rhodes began his career in education in 1970, when he joined the Calvert County Public Schools as a classroom teacher at Mount Harmony Elementary School in Owings, Md. In 1978, he became a classroom teacher at Prince Frederick Elementary in Prince Frederick, Md., where he remained for three years. In 1981, Mr. Rhodes was a Title I/Chapter I resource teacher for Calvert County Public Schools. In 1987, he was a classroom teacher at Calvert Elementary School in Prince Frederick, Md., and was promoted to vice principal in 1988, where he remained for nine years. In 1997, Mr. Rhodes assumed his present position. He holds a BS degree in elementary education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa., and an MEd degree in elementary administration/supervision from Bowie State University in Maryland.
