Lee Bell,
Fauquier County Public Schools, is principal at C. Hunter Ritchie Elementary School. Mr. Bell began his career in education in 1963, as a sixth grade teacher at Linville-Edom Elementary School in Linville, Va. In 1964, he joined Fauquier County Public Schools as a seventh grade science teacher at Warrenton Elementary in Warrenton, Va., where he taught for four years. In 1968, Mr. Bell became principal at A.S. Rhodes Elementary School in Riverton, Va. From 1969 to 1990, he served as principal of P.B. Smith Elementary School in Warrenton. In 1990, Mr. Bell assumed his present position at C. Hunter Ritchie Elementary. He holds a BS degree in biology and chemistry from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va., and an MEd degree in elementary administration from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
